Heyokaha Consult

The heyoka - also spelled as 'heyokah' - is the jester, the fool of the Lakota people, the native American Indian group that currently lives in North and South Dakota in the United States. The heyoka(h) plays a pivotal role in the community by approaching problems and obstructions in the community or at an individual level in a both provocative and respectful, a loving and light-hearted way. The heyoka(h) operates as a transformer/alchemist in order to make things work again for all involved parties.

In the company-name 'Heyokaha Consult' an extra '(h)a' is added to stress the 'Aha Erlebnis' that is experienced when the problem/obstruction is recognized and acknowledged. This is the first step to finding solutions. This is exactly what Heyokaha Consult is about: offering support to solve and transform challenges at both an organisational and individual level. Heyokaha Consult focuses on promoting and improving institutional, professional and personal integrity, in an integral and inclusive way, in the form of process guidance and mentoring, training and coaching, paying attention as well to leadership development.
